TRIANGL FARRAH WILD THING

Ok so just like every other girl on the planet I have found myself lusting after the beautiful bikinis that are Triangl. If you're not familiar with the brand then you must be living under a rock or be a total social recluse, these things epitomise Instagram envy in every form. So when I received an email from the amazing team over at Triangl HQ saying they wanted to send me a bikini of my choice, not going to lie, I totally I freaked out! Finally with one of these babies in my hands I could see if they are worth the hype... And trust me they are.

A blogging Highatus?

So lately I’ve taken a bit of a break from blogging and why you ask? Four simple words. Third year University student! When people say third year is hard, they aren't kidding. I spend so much time in rehearsals and the library when I get home I just watch some Netflix and fall straight to sleep, leaving little to no time for blogging. And when I do have some free time I just use it to see my friends and family, taking a break from writing is key to surviving third year. And While I love writing and find it so enjoyable and relaxing it’s hard work. Especially when blogging isn’t just writing … it’s taking photos, editing, writing, spell checking and coding all wrapped into one. It’s more work than most people think. And while I love blogging and sharing my thoughts with the world, it does take time. But I’d much rather spend time writing things I care about and I’m proud of than putting half hearted posts onto my blog. But third year means dedication if I want to do well, which of course I do! So that means blogging has to take a back seat a little. That being said it doesn’t mean I’m giving up on it! it just means if you like reading my blog hang on with me. After the semester is done and I have some free time I’ll hopefully be writing and queueing lots of exciting post to share with you, especially over the festive season. Plus lots of posts I didn’t get around to posting like my summer holiday adventure and my birthday posts, they’re coming I swear. Also hoping to launch my youtube in the start on the new year, it's something I've been wanting to do for a while so the Christmas break seems a fitting time. So keep following and checking in, social media is still pretty active because I’m not a full social recluse just yet. So I thought I’d just give anyone reading a little disclaimer and a thanks for sticking with me until I’m back into the swing of things. Now back into the library I go, wish me luck!

Makeup Revolution Ultra Contour Palette

If you know me or my blog, you'll know that's there one type of beauty product I'm continually buying and trying out. This beauty trend is my ultimate favourite and I use the word 'trend' lightly as most who've mastered it, rarely revert back from it's magical slimming and sculpting powers. Of course I'm talking about Highlighting and Contouring. So today's product is one of those, a powder contour palette. This little Ultra Contour Palette from the wonderful people over at Makeup Revolution is everything you could ever need for all your sculpting needs and I'm completely obsessed.

Bubbleology Leeds Trinity Launch Event

What happens when you add together a little bit of science and a little bit tea? You get Bubbleology! Over the summer I was invited down to help celebrate the launch of the new Bubbleology Leeds 'Trinity store and try some crazy, popping tea creations. Now I was already familiar with bubble tea before this place opened and have tried it from their concession inside Topshop Oxford Street, but since the Leeds' opening my tea cravings have soared through the roof and once you've tried it I'm sure yours will too.

Derma V10 Blogger Box

Last month while I was at #theCityGirls Leeds event, find my full post on that here, the team over Derma V10 were lovely enough to gift us all with a blogger box of goodies to test and try out. I'm a huge fan of Derma V10's products so I was extremely excited to see exactly what was waiting for me inside this little brown box. I'm always on the hunt for products to help keep my skin in the best possible condition it can be and when a brand prides themselves on products which can make you 'love yourself for less' then of course I'm going to be all for that. My Tavira Adventure: Part Two

After only a few short days in the town of Tavira, I had fallen in love. It's quaint charm, friendly locals and ridiculously high temperatures meant this town was just everything you could ever want here, I began exploring the beautiful town. But there was still so much too see including the gorgeous Ilha De Tavira, the island that city plays host to only a quick ferry ride down the river. I mean what more could you ask for than a island beach along with some gorgeous sunsets and lots of delicious Tapas.

My Tavira Adventure

A sleepy little fishing village on the east coast of Portugal is where my latest travel adventure found me. My mother and I wanted a last minute getaway where we could soak up some sun, enjoy some delicious fresh seafood and just unwind a little. Now we could think of plenty of places we'd been before that could offer us this but I like to explore new places so we went back to the drawing board decided to ventured to somewhere exciting and new. This lead us to Tavira and without a second thought we booked it. What couldn't we love about this little Portuguese town, unspoilt and charming.

Three B's to Healthy Hair

I feel from a young age us girls have unrealistic expectations of our hair. We all want those Disney Princess locks with so much thickness and volume, that just perfectly quiffs as you lie on top of a rock in the middle of the ocean. But sadly our hair dreams remain just that. I've always been very lucky with my hair, my colour is completely natural and it usually grows very quickly. That being said I've noticed it's become damaged over my time at university. A killer combination of late nights, stress and poor diet but what I consider to be the real root of my hair issues... heat. I'm now on a mission to regrow thick, healthy hair. After some extensive research online I've found three little tricks to help my hair which are now known as the three Bs. I've been using these methods for the last two months and already noticed a massive difference in the condition of my hair so I thought I'd share them with you.  Here's my tips for getting big, bouncy, beautiful hair.

#TheCityGirls Leeds Swag Bag

If you caught my recent post on attending #TheCityGirls Leeds Event you'll know that I and forty other Leeds bloggers were treated to an amazing afternoon and left with a huge pile of goodies from some amazing brands. Bloggers love to mingle, I swear it's a proven fact. And when your in a room full of people who are  just like you and understand having to rearrange items to get the most Instagram worthy shot, then you know you must be at a blogger event. Contouring is a beauty trend which doesn't want to budge and of course that makes me extremely happy, after all I live for highlight and contour. Summers Beauty Must Haves

Ah summer, nothing like it. The heat, the swimming, the adventures, the traveling, the food and then theres the make-up sliding off your face, melting in the sun. So summer isn't all too friendly towards all full glam look but when your skin is golden who needs it? In the summer a light coverage, dewy, golden hue make-up just shouts sun kissed goddess. For me there's a few items I definitely couldn't live without during the warmer season, so here it is... my summer beauty must have products.

For me summer is all about effortless hair that just scream "I've spent all morning at the beach and yet I still look flawless." When your hair is just perfectly tousled you feel so effortless but still look like you've made an effort, it's the perfect look for lazy days too. But sometimes just leaving your hair natural won't do especially when the humidity hits and the frizz decides to make an appearance. That's why when I spied the John Frieda Beach Blonde Collection I knew I just had to try it and see if it would give me the perfect beachy, mermaid hair vibes that I desperately wanted.

Ever wanted some real sassy arm candy? And I'm not talking about a dating guy with attitude issues. I mean a charm bracelet thats so unique, fun and brings a traditional jewellery stable into the 21st century. I've always wanted a charm bracelet but never found one which leapt out at me and screamed 'buy me now' so I never did. Until I came across the sass that is My Flash Trash, I mean just look so #flashy.

It gets to this time of year when we all start to panic. Holidays have been booked and we've got about four weeks to get our Victoria Secret bodies. #LFDF10 The Leodensian: Almost Famous Leeds

Every year Leeds celebrates it love for good grub with the annual Food and Drink Festival in Millieum Square. However this year for the first time as part of the 10th anniversary of the festival, my amazing hometown is throwing it's first ever 'month of food'. Between the 22nd of May and the 7th of June, there's countless foodie events on across the city. So if you want something to tickle your tastebuds then definitely check it out. For me there was one stand out, tasty treat I just had to get my hands on when I saw the line-up for this finger lickin' month. It was the commemorative burger created by the wonderful folk over at Almost Famous Leeds, The Leodensian. A burger that just screams all things... Yorkshire, Yorkshire, Yorkshire.
