Tarte's Lights, Cameras, Lashes Mascara

Every girl knows the struggle to find the perfect mascara is all too real. You need voulme, pigment, curl and length in one magic bottle. It can't bankrupt you but you can't deal with a terrible brush that constantly clumps. No turning your lashes into spider legs or leaving you with panda eyes after a few hours. Talk about a mission to find the holy grail! I've tried everything from drugstore products to highend designer brands, YSL to Collection 2000 and yet not a single product I would swear by. Until now...

Now my Mother is a bit of a QVC addict, which means she finds some great beauty buys for me. QVC have recently started stocking Tarte, a American beauty brand which uses 'high-performance naturals' in order to create a 'pure, powerful cosmetics.' Ive bought a handful of Tarte products before whilst on holiday in the US and the products have always been pretty good. Then one lazy day over the summer I was watching the beauty hour on QVC with my mum, a bit lame I know. This special featured Tarte and this is when I spied their new mascara Lights, Camera, Lashes. I was left in awe at on the onscreen demonstration. It genuinely looked like the model had applied false lashes but I watched her use this stuff so know she didn't. I just had to get my hands on this stuff straight away and that's exactly what I did. All I can say is... this mascara is a game changer!

This mascara is something else, I can't even begin to rave about it enough. It gives length, volume and curl without leaving lashes feeling hard or crusty even after hours of wearing it. The difference in my lashes before and after applying this product are just something else, and that's only with one coat. The colour and pigmentation is also great because when they say 'jet black' they really do mean it.

The beauty of the mascara comes from its natural ingredients; using rice bran helps to thicken and lengthen lashes through the same way in which rice does when it puffs up and doubles in size. It also contains ProVitamin B and Olive Esters to condition and treat the lashes and Carnauba Wax is also inside this miracle tube in order to ensure a clump free application. The brush itself is pretty standard however though I've had no problems with clumping or anything and I'm now on my second bottle of the stuff. I mean just look at the length and volume I get from only one coat!

QVC is still the only stock holders of Tarte at the moment in the UK, though I expect with gems like this we will see appearing in stores soon. The beauty of buying from QVC however is their 30 day money-back guarantee so you can literally try this mascara and if your not totally in love, though I doubt that would be the case, you can just send it straight back for a full refund! I wish I could do this with all beauty products rather than just buying ones that don't work for me and then just wasting them and the money I spent on them.

I would highly recommend this product is worth a try at only £19.50 and for the difference you'll see in your lashes it's worth every penny. I can not stress enough the beauty of this product, an eco-beauty product that really does everything you could ever want from a mascara. I need to try more of the Tarte range, especially their Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation which I've heard rave reviews of already. Expect some more Tarte reviews to come!

What's your favorite mascara? Have you tried any of the Tarte range?
