¡Holá strangers! I've been somewhat vacant from the blogosphere lately and I'll give you one simple reason why... University. And more specifically third year of university. I have officially handed in my last piece of work as an undergraduate and performed for the last time as a member of Northumbria University. Cry. It's been a very hectic year and blogging had to really take a back seat to my work which was sad, but necessary. After writing essay upon essay, plus attending lectures and rehearsals there just wasn't enough hours in the day. So I've complete my degree (expect a lot of post university post coming up) and it's been a totally crazy year. In September I started working on a self directed performance with my girl gang and we created a performance that I'm so incredibly proud of. It was the most out-there and crazy performance I've ever been involved in but it was so rewarding, we got a first hurray! This then lead us to be selected to perform at an international theatre Festival in Croatia, like what? And then of all things we won this festival. Out of numerous different theatre academies and schools from across Europe that attended our little baby won, the experience was completely surreal but so amazing. This was all happening alongside creating a audio-experience performance the used real testimony of bulimia suffers to raise awareness and writing essays for other modules too. Finally my last performance resulted in working on a piece of verbatim theatre about the Oklahoma bombing in a professional theatre setting. Since Easter break I was in rehearsals at half eight till six every day, then headed off to the library to put in more shifts to write and research my alongside papers. But in the end it was all worth it because the experience was second to none. I worked with an amazing cast and performed something that I will forever cherish. Here's a little photo gallery of all my performances and work from my final, and dare I say best year at university.

A blogging Highatus?
So lately I’ve taken a bit of a break from blogging and why you ask? Four simple words. Third year University student! When people say third year is hard, they aren't kidding. I spend so much time in rehearsals and the library when I get home I just watch some Netflix and fall straight to sleep, leaving little to no time for blogging. And when I do have some free time I just use it to see my friends and family, taking a break from writing is key to surviving third year. And While I love writing and find it so enjoyable and relaxing it’s hard work. Especially when blogging isn’t just writing … it’s taking photos, editing, writing, spell checking and coding all wrapped into one. It’s more work than most people think. And while I love blogging and sharing my thoughts with the world, it does take time. But I’d much rather spend time writing things I care about and I’m proud of than putting half hearted posts onto my blog. But third year means dedication if I want to do well, which of course I do! So that means blogging has to take a back seat a little. That being said it doesn’t mean I’m giving up on it! it just means if you like reading my blog hang on with me. After the semester is done and I have some free time I’ll hopefully be writing and queueing lots of exciting post to share with you, especially over the festive season. Plus lots of posts I didn’t get around to posting like my summer holiday adventure and my birthday posts, they’re coming I swear. Also hoping to launch my youtube in the start on the new year, it's something I've been wanting to do for a while so the Christmas break seems a fitting time. So keep following and checking in, social media is still pretty active because I’m not a full social recluse just yet. So I thought I’d just give anyone reading a little disclaimer and a thanks for sticking with me until I’m back into the swing of things. Now back into the library I go, wish me luck!
What posts do you want to see once I'm back?

Derma V10 Blogger Box
Last month while I was at #theCityGirls Leeds event, find my full post on that here, the team over Derma V10 were lovely enough to gift us all with a blogger box of goodies to test and try out. I'm a huge fan of Derma V10's products so I was extremely excited to see exactly what was waiting for me inside this little brown box. I'm always on the hunt for products to help keep my skin in the best possible condition it can be and when a brand prides themselves on products which can make you 'love yourself for less' then of course I'm going to be all for that. Who says you need to spend big bucks to have the healthiest skin around?
