If you caught my recent post on attending #TheCityGirls Leeds Event you'll know that I and forty other Leeds bloggers were treated to an amazing afternoon and left with a huge pile of goodies from some amazing brands. If you didn't catch it take a peek here. But our luck didn't stop there, we were also treated to a huge Swag Bag full of even more brilliant products. I literally am obsessed with so many of these goodies and it felt like Christmas unbagging all these amazing treats. So let's dive in and see this huge array of gifts.
TANGLE ANGLE DE-TANGLING HAIR BRUSH, PET ANGLE DE-TANGLING BRUSH
Anyone with longish hair will tell you, you can never have enough detangling brushes in your life... I own about four. They all have their different uses and time when they shine but I think this one is going to be great for all round general use just because of the sheer size of the brush. I also love the fact it has a proper brush handle so you can fully comb through your hair. Also how cute is this pet brush, my little animals or manimals as I call them have both been loving being brushed with this. Plus it makes getting through their fluff a lot easier I must say.
VOSS ARTISAN WATER AND MEMORY STICK
If you haven't seen Voss water on Instagram then you've clearly been living under a rock because it's everywhere but can you blame us it just look so lovely. I'm never going to throw this bottle away once I've drank the water inside, just forever refilling with pretty detox waters for Instagram purposes. Also how cute is this mini memory stick? I can't wait to use this for uni because it's just adorable.
VERY VANDERBERRY PAPER CUT OUTS
When I won the raffle my second prize was this beautiful paper cut out which I just adore. I love the handmade element and the quote itself is so lovely and a great little memo in life. I think I'm going to frame it and place it above my desk as a little remember. I've often find myself questioning why I blog when people just want to rip you down for it but I enjoy it and that's all that matters so I think this will act as a little reminder to that.
SUGRU FIX THAT THING MOULDABLE GLUE
Sugru is a mouldable fixture which you can apply to practically anything to either reenforce it or fix it. If you've seen the online ad you'll know this stuff looks amazing, I can't wait to protect all my iPhone chargers so I'll never have to buy another one. Hallelujah.
SCRIBBLER COMEDY GREETING CARDS
If you don't want your a-typical birthday card then Scribbler seems to be the ideal option. Who wants to be pleasant when you can be a little cheeky and fun, just a word of warning though... don't send this card to your grandmother.
OLOVES PACK OF OLVIES
Oh my gosh, I love black olives more than anything in the world. Like seriously is I could eat my body weight in olives then I would. My name is literally derived from the latin word for olive so of course I was going to love this little snack pack. I want, no need, a life time supply of these to keep stashed for when I need a tasty snack. Sooooo good!
WILKINSON SWORD QUATTRO FOR WOMEN RAZOR
I'm always in the market for a new amazing razor. One that doesn't get gross after a few uses or leaves your legs cut to shreds or all bumpy and rashy. I've already tried this out and my legs felt so silky and smooth after using it. It shaved so close but didn't even nip my skin in the slightest. I'm loving this razor right now and so are my bare legs perfect for the summertime.
MANUKA DOCTOR SAMPLES, BEE VEMON LIP PLUMPER, HAIR MASK
Manuka Doctor is my new favourite go to brand because I love anything bee venom or Manuka related. If you saw my event post you'll know I won the raffle (three times, woo) and this restorative hair mask was on of my prizes. I'm so excited to use this because I'm currently trying to get my hair back to a good condition so I know this will help. I'm already obsessed with the lip enhancer with bee venom because it's just the right amount of tingle factor to help plump those lips and give you that Kylie Jenner look. I also have some little samplers of the skin treatment serum, target wrinkle filler and the rejuvenating face mask which I can't wait to try out.
KENDELLE KEY RING AND VOUCHER
My final and favourite prize I won in the raffle was a £50 voucher for the clothing brand Kendelle. I literally love their stuff and own so many cute pieces in lots of bold, colourful patterns. I can't wait to get my hands on some new pieces with this little voucher, especially their new collection with the bold leafy prints. If you haven't checked out Kendelle, make sure you do because their pieces are beautiful! Also a little cute keyring never goes a miss.
VIRTUE ICE TEA, POP CHIPS BARBECUE
I'm an ice tea fanatic so trying a new brand of tea I am super excited for. I'm currently sipping on this now while writing this post and its so tasty and refreshing. It would be so nice to have on a hot summers day, if that existed in England I mean. I'm obsessed with Pop Chips, they're so yummy but sadly this flavour isn't for me. I hate all like strong smelly meaty crips so unfortunately these are a no go, my mum was crazy about them though.
OATES AND CO BRAMLEY HAND CREAM, TWIG AND DOT BAHAMA BAY CANDLE
Oates and Co. hand wrapped all of their gifts for the swag bags so I was super excited to see what this was. This hand cream smells amazing and feels so nourishing on my skin. I get really dry hands at times and love nothing more than my skin feeling silky so this is great, especially when it's enriched with natural extracts. This little candle from Twig and Dot smells divine, I love the smell so much. It just transports you to a tropical island where you can relax and forget all your troubles. I can't stress how good it smells.
TOGETHER HEALTH VITAMIN PACKS, URBAN FRUIT MAGNIFICENT MANGO, YORKSHIRE TEA TEA BAGS
I go through vitamins by the bucket loads, I love trying to help keep my body and immune system check so this little packet is a great way to just that. I think I'm going to keep these for traveling because they're the perfect size to throw in your case or bag. Dried mango is one of my favourite snacks to nibble on, they're so tasty and better for you than other sweet little treats. Then of course what would a Leeds swag bag be incomplete without? Yorkshire tea of course. I'm not a massive tea drinker apart from green tea, but the odd occasion I do have a milky one it has to be Yorkshire's finest.
MOOGOO MOISTURISER AND FACE WASH
I can have really terrible dry patches on my skin, to the point where it completely drys up and becomes almost rash like which hurts like hell so finding a soothing moisturiser that doesn't make me break out but keep my skin silky is very important to me. I've 'herd' these products are great for nourishing your skin while using natural ingredients to sooth irritated skin. But can we just appreciate the packaging because it's just too much, I am completely obsessed. I'm excited to try this with the mini milk sampler I got to see how refreshed and smooth my skin will feel afterwards.
DUSTY GIRLS LIPGLOSS
First of all I love the packaging on this lipgloss, it's very simple and feels organic which I love. Obviously the organic elements carry through into the product itself as it is a mineral make-up brand. which is perfect as I love using natural products because you know they've not got any nasty chemicals inside. It feels very nourishing and gives a very subtle look that still is present and dewy upon the lips.
BALMI LIPBALMS
I love Balmi lip balms so much, they feel so good on lips and smell amazing. This is the raspberry one and raspberries are my favourites, in fruit and lip balm form so I can't wait to try this out. Also how cute is this packaging, like at Christmas hanging this on your tree would be so cute as a little bauble stocking stuffer.
THE BODYSHOP
Bodyshop treated us to some little samples of some of their new, best selling products. The little tub contains the Wild Argan Oil Body Butter which just smells so good. I love body butters when you really want to hydrate you skin, and you can apply it before bed and wake up with silky feeling skin. The other sample was of the Drops of Youth Concentrate which helps to smooth the skin and leaves it looking fresher and fuller. I after testing this at the event, I can not wait to use my little sampler and probably go buy a full sized bottle very soon.
GOSH AT SUPERDRUG GLITTER LINER, ANGELICA NAIL POLISH, PAUL MITCHELL CURLS, 7TH HEAVEN COFFE MOCHA MUD
This GOSH eyeliner took me right back to my early millennium days when glitter liner was everything! I actually love playing with little bits of glitter liner as an accent on my regular looks for nights out so this will definitely be use soon. Especially with festivals just around the corner. I love the shade of this Angelica nail polish, it's so brightly pigmented I just can't help but love it. I'm so excited to try this Paul Mitchell treatment because I've heard such good things about it. I'm trying not to use heat on my hair at the moment so this leave in treatment will help me achieve a styled look naturally, hurray. I'm mud mask obsessed so this mocha 7th Heaven treatment is going to really aid my pamper nights. I can already tell it's going to smell amazing with its chocolatey, coffee scent.
KISS THE MOON GLOW AFTER DARK BATH OIL
I love bath oils so much, they make your skins smell heavenly and feeling silky smooth. Glow from Kiss the Moon is to help aid sleep while nourishing your body. I love having a bath before bed so I know for me this stuff is perfect. It smells amazing with light citrus notes of orange, geranium, myrrh and litsea.
BENEFIT THE POREFESSIONAL LICENSE TO BLOT
I've been absolutely desperate to try this little stick out so getting a mini sampler was ideal. I have dry-to-combination skin but in the summer months I can get a little shiny at times so having a handy little blotting stick like this seems like the perfect way to keep me looking fresh throughout the day. The stick is designed to mattify shine for up for six hours and has a triangular tip to aid in application to the sides of your nose, forehead and chin. I've been using this recently and loving it so far, think I may just have to invest in a full sized stick.
MICHAEL O’MARA BOOK CAN’T SLEEP COLOURING BOOK
I've been wanting an adult colouring book to help me relax and destress, especially during university stress periods as a way to keep myself sane. I love the beautiful patterns inside this book, they're gorgeous. I can't wait to use this as a form of meditation just to relive myself a little and escape into a world of crazy patterns and colours.
DERMA V10 BODY BUTTER COCOA, RESCUE OIL, Q10 INNOVATIONS NIGHT CREAM, Q10 INNOVATIONS MOISTURISING MULTI RADIANCE CREAM
In the Derma V10 blogger box I was treated to four amazing products which I will be doing a full review of soon. The first being a body butter in my favourite smell, coco. I have used this already and oh my. Not only does this smell amazing but it leaves your skin so soft. Plus you smell good enough to eat. I've been wanting to try the rescue oil so badly to help reduce the look of my little stretch marks on my thighs, damn growth spurts, so I'm really excited for this. I love applying night creams before I go to sleep because I know my face is being hydrated throughout the night, especially on holidays so I'm going to take this away with me so I can keep my skin nourished while away. I'm so excited to trying this multi radiance cream because it contains light reflecting particles so helps to give you that glowing, dewy look.
These amazing swag-bags were full of so many fabulous products!
